President Obama is "God," according to Newsweek editor Evan Thomas.
“In a way,” Thomas told Chris Matthews during a taping of Hardball, “Obama is standing above the country. Above … above the world …“He’s sort of God.”
Matthews appeared to agree.
Have you ever heard anything so stupid?
And while it's disturbing enough to know that there is probably at least a dozen more that agree with him, what's even more disconcerting is remembering various times throughout history when a man was worshipped as God, only to turn around and seriously hurt the very people that worshipped him.

Well, Jesus Christ is a liberal in the bible .... Obama is a liberal too.
But, I don't think Obama is Jesus, just a good decent human trying to fix the Bush economy and win the 2 wars Bush was too GOP weak to win.
Well Jesus Christ certainly wasn't a liberal. Jesus believed that in teaching a man how to fish. To be independent and not rely on others for handouts to feed you. Jesus was also an entrepreneur. He ran his own construction business, he was a carpenter.
The Bush economy... well again your wrong. Bush had his hands tied, he couldn't do anything. Since 2006 the congress (they control spending and taxing) has been in power. When the liberals decide to take responsibility for the economy it will be a miracle.
