PLEASE Senator McCain -
1. TALK more about how the present financial crisis was brought on through both parties - but importantly, point out the policies that preceded Bush. It was Clinton's administration that insisted on banks giving shaky loans. American needs to understand this isn't just a GOP mess!
2. ARIZONA needs to stand up and say they appreciate your willingness to suspend the campaign and travel back to DC to represent THEM in this time of crisis, as you had been elected to do. You had every right and responsibility to be there. SAY SO. And MAKE IT CLEARER what it was you were trying to do while you there!
3. LET SARAH be SARAH. Call off the handlers! Remember, she made it to the Governorship without them! Alaska loves her - Allow us to love her as well! Let us see the real Sarah - because from what I've heard, she awesome. Let her be herself!
4. LET her talk about energy, oil drilling, and all the issues that she knows so well! She's an intelligent woman. Let her speak!

For years Americans have been crying about "Washington Insiders," institutionalized corruption, and the "good old boys" atmosphere in DC. People have been demanding change. Obama has tried to pretend in his campaign that he's not a "Washington Insider."
Now, we finally get a real person on the ticket. And it's terrifying the liberals that have claimed for so many years that they care about the common people!
Here she is: A working class outsider, just like we've been wanting. Who among us average joe's wouldn't have trouble if we were suddenly confronted with with a hostile national media's drilling? The fact that she struggles is only proof that's she's no different than us: she's not an insider.
However, she's also not average in the sense that, as much as the mocker's who sit on their butts and have never done anything of merit in their lives like to claim she's stupid, she's the one that stepped out in her convictions. She's the one with the inner strength and courage to not only become mayor, but fight and win the governorship of the largest state in America - as well as the courage to take on this national role.
She was the one that had the guts to fight corruption and make changes in Alaska - and the one that Alaskans love because of it.
God Bless her! You go girl. We are behind you and are praying for you. In fact, I watched that You Tube of the Pastor praying over you and I prayed right along with him. I am sure that I haven't been alone in doing that. God Bless you!

Alcee Hastings - jerk
On Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, Florida Rep. Alcee Hastings, trying to get Jewish people to rally behind Obama, used racist rhetoric to rile them, warning the National Jewish Democratic Council to beware of Sarah Palin because “anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks.”
How could anyone that would say something this stupid actually hold a Congressional seat? What does hunting moose have to do with minority groups? And why does the Democratic elite look down their noses at rural people, not just in Alaska, but all over the country? Why do they hate the average Americans so much?

Glad McCain is Taking this Seriously
On September 24th, Senator McCain said, "We must meet as Americans, not as Democrats or Republicans, and we must meet until this crisis is resolved."
He was "hired" by the American Taxpayers to be a voice in Congress. I appreciate that he is taking that responsibility seriously and is willing to suspend the presidential campaign in order to work on this financial crisis. I don't always agree with him and I am more conservative than he is. But McCain has warned Congress in the past that this kind of financial crisis could happen and he has spent his career crossing political lines to do what he's thought is right for our country.
However, Obama is way over to the left on his politics - far from what I believe is true and correct. Further, he talks about "change" in Washington but has done little in Congress to bring it about. It appears that even now, with the crisis at hand, he's unwilling to do much about it.
I'm not worried about the debates. McCain did very well at the Saddleback Church compared to Obama. Senator McCain also asked Obama to participate in several town hall meetings months ago. Obama refused. Some questioned how well Obama would be able to perform in an open town hall meeting. I don't know - we never got a chance to see.
Thank you, Senator McCain, for consistently being a leader, even if we don't always agree.

The elite liberals can call us the "white trash" vote if they want to (who are the ones that are the racists??) but the more the Dems say hateful things about Palin, the more they teach me about her.
I already liked that she's conservative on the issues, just like me, but wouldn't have known anything about her church except that the media brought it up. I have now listened to two of her pastors on the internet, and I like them. I wouldn't have known about her daughter until the media brought it up. And now I think, gee...a pregnant, unmarried, teen age daughter. Imagine that. Sounds just like my daughter. And the fact that she went ahead and carried her Down's baby to term, while governing the biggest State in America? The only state bordering two other nations? Wow! She's awesome - AND so is her husband.
The more the media teaches me about her, the more I want to vote for Palin... er...McCain.
