Feeling like an abandoned child, watching one's father choose 'the other woman and her children.'
Dr. Ben Carson said today concerning the Obama admin's handling of the ebola crisis, “…either there is
some politics here, or there isn’t much deep thinking.”
Another doctor surmised the other day that Obama’s view of
America is so twisted – ie: that we have been elitists hurting the rest of the
world for so long – that he genuinely believes we need to suffer some along
with the rest of the world. ….That it would be elitist for our country not to
suffer with the African countries.
That’s pretty hard to wrap one’s head around.
Maybe...maybe he thinks they should be allowed to come here to get help
if they can make it.
…if he is emotionally attached to the people of Africa… that
could make sense. As a parent, I can
understand feeling uncompromising compassion for those I love - I would be mortified if one of
my children were cut off from fleeing a dangerous situation.
But he is president of America, and he is supposed to be
protecting US.
I haven’t perceived him as an emotionally attached person. But maybe that is because he isn’t
emotionally attached to us. Maybe he realty
is emotionally attached elsewhere.
