'We'll Leave the Lights ON For ya!" 'Earth Hour' is garbage

.Supposedly, "millions of people" around the world are shutting off their lights at 8:30 pm tonight as part of an "Earth Hour" to draw attention to so-called "Global Warming."

Apparently, there are lots of people in the world that, due to their liberal and/or state run media, still haven't gotten the message that much of the "green house gas" garbage was made up.

So, doing my sacrificial part for the good of our world, I will enlighten them.

GOP Has forced the Healthcare Bill back to the House - PRAY

The Senate GOP Has forced the Healthcare Bill back to the House for a Second Vote. The Senate parliamentarian agreed this was necessary because of unfunded mandates for the Student Loan legislation that Democrats piggy-backed onto the Health care legislation.

Did you think they would stop with the federalization of healthcare? Of course not! They federalized Education funding at the same time!

With all the frightening things this Health Insurance legislation is bringing on us - such as punishing doctors for making referrals to Cancer specialists, Pulmonary specialists, Ear, Nose & Throat Doctors, Orthopedists, or ANY specialist, for that matter - and mandating that Parents be responsible for their children's health premiums all the way till they are 26; well into adulthood - and that abortion funding loopholes still exist -and Robbing our Elders of their Insurance by robbing Medicare - AND FORGETTING their promise that Children are immediately benefited by coverage that ignores pre-existing conditions -

And lots more stomach turning nonsense - none of which actually improves health care in America -

PLEASE PRAY about this forced vote!!

We all know that NO Democrat will change his/her vote outside of a miracle. Through Deception, whether it be a bought vote, or Obama/Pelosi pressure, or an extremely liberal district, they are all determined to push this horrendous bill through. And Pundits say that once it is in place, it will be extremely difficult to repeal.

Therefore, it will only be through a miracle that this bill is defeated.

Please - we don't know what God's plans are; we are humans with only limited insight -Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding"

So, although what I think we want is for at least four Democrats to suddenly vote "No" on the bill and for the bill to fail, I am praying for God's Will, as He has the whole picture in view - Colossians 2:3 "in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."

I pray, therefore, for God's Will to be Done. I pray for my Nation, I pray for it's leaders, and I pray for it's people.

Lord God, Jesus Christ, My Lord and Master, Please shape our country the way you want it shaped, according to Your Will, and Your Will alone. Lord Jesus, please protect Your children, take Care of Your Children. Please Set in place the Leaders that You want to have leading, who will bring about the things that You want brought about. If it is Your Will that America fail, make that way easy, open the doors for that to happen, and please give me the Grace and courage to accept it.

But if NOT, Lord Jesus, I ask in Your Holy Name, that You Close all the Doors that are attempting to destroy our Country, lock those doors, and prevent the destruction from happening. And Lord Jesus, please make it very clear that this is Your Move and Will, no matter what. Thank You Jesus, for your Wisdom, Grace and Protection. Thank You for answering our Prayers. Amen.

ObamaCare: Don't make me Sick

Thieves! I don’t have much money, but what little I have - Keep your hands off!

My Representative, Earl Pomeroy, voted FOR the passage of the Senate's massive health insurance overhaul Sunday night.

Among many of the onerous provisions that our country can't afford:

- Children will be able to remain under their parents health coverage until they are 26.

- Insurance companies who participate in the government-run exchange will be allowed to provide for abortions. Many prolife orgs, including the National Right to Life, say that federal funds will be used for some of those abortions.

- In all, there will be a half a trillion in new taxes.

- The House "fixes" the Senate bill by raising $50 Billion dollars more in taxes , as well as cuts Medicare spending $66 billion more for a total of $523 billion.

- The $523 billion of money taken from Medicare will be used to pay for this new government program, including subsidies to help families with incomes up to $75,000 a year buy health insurance. $75,000 is NOT low income. I, for one, do not want my health needs to come before those of my elders - in particular, the vets who fought for our country and their wives.

- Estimates are that this legislation will expand the deficit by more than $660 billion dollars. So, not only are we neglecting the needs our elders, but we'll be leaving our grandchildren with an impossible debt.

- The above are facts. There are rumors of much more to be frightened of.


Thanks Earl Pomeroy. I for one, will be voting for your opponent. You, too, Obama. You are no hero of mine.

The campaigns against all those that voted for this horrendous legislation must begin today, whether or not they even have an opponent yet.



These last few weeks, even listening to Obama go on and on with his rhetoric makes me sick to my stomach. Is it just me, or does he talk now with a sing song in his voice, as if he's a Television Evangelist? Someone please tell him to stop. Please. It's truly nauseating.

Queen Michelle Obama's "No News" Zone

Are you kidding me? In an interview with Mike Huckabee, Michelle Obama said she stays away from news because she wants to formulate her own opinions based on her "experiences." Obama said she reads news clips from the headlines, "but I tend and I try to keep home kind of news-free zone."

At this unusual time in American history - when more Americans are waking up to what's going on in their government and getting involved, Queen Obama announces that her family home is a "News-Free" zone, because she prefers her own "experience" to those of her fellow citizens. She has no need for factual events going on with anyone else.

We teach our kids in school to stay on top of current events and we hold discussions with them in classrooms and at our dinner-tables. Adults gather at watercoolers, lunch tables, and townhall meetings to discuss news. Many turn to Twitter, Facebook, and other social media to stay informed. And wait - didn't liberals mock Sarah Palin when she didn't answer Katie Couric's question about magazines she reads?

But not Michelle Obama. Forget about gathering information or researching facts. Her home is a "News-Free" zone and her personal experience is all that she needs.

Heaven knows that any news about what the country is actually thinking, doing, or saying is the last thing she wants to hear about.

"Let them eat cake" she may as well have said.

Never mind if her personal experience has been limited to Chicago, and she knows nothing about the experience of rural, non-black, or "less than elite" Americans.

Has she ever been on welfare? Has she ever slept in the projects? No?

What about an understanding of middle class America? She's been living on the high end for a long time; enjoying the pay-offs that come with her husband's social and political positions. Does she have any understanding of what it is like to work your fingers to the bone and still not be able to make ends meet? Or what it is like to keep a small family business in the black with today's economy and taxes? No?

Lived and worked in the rural bread basket of America; known people who gather for coffee in a small town cafe? No?

I've had experience with all those things, and it amazes me that Michelle Obama assumes she can have any understanding of what I or most other Americans are about. She'll never understand the Tea Party if she's going to depend solely on her personal "experiences" to formulate her opinions. But...maybe she doesn't want to understand the Tea Party.

But what can we expect. This is no different then what any of the "progressive" elite are doing. They really don't give a rip about the poor or middle class. Just like John Edwards, they don't even like being around them. They feign concern, wailing about "all the poor that can't afford Health insurance" simply because it makes good sound bites and gives an excuse for their dominating agenda.

But heaven forbid they spend any real time getting their hands dirty. You won't see John Edwards or Michelle Obama wiping saliva off the chins of elderly with dementia, much less take the time to really hear what "Tea Partiers" are trying to say.

Anti-Women Groups attack 2007 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow

A small number of groups purporting to speak for women are getting their panties in a knot over the free expression of others with whom they don't agree.

Being outspokenly Christian or anti-abortion really seems to drive the left insane. Sarah Palin was treated brutally. So has been the Christian organization, Focus on the Family. Now it's the Tebow's turn.

The National Organization of Women and Women’s Media Center, among a few others, are trying to make CBS drop an anti-abortion ad featuring 2007 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow and his family. Understand now; these groups have never seen the ad. They have no real idea what it says. They just don’t want the Tebow’s to be allowed to speak freely in a fully paid for Super Bowl ad on the subject of abortion.

Let me make something perfectly clear to the National Organization of Women, Women's Media Center, and the other anti-baby, anti-woman organizations currently attacking the Tebows:

You do not represent me, a low income widow with a racially diverse family. You do not represent my daughters, two of whom have had children out of wedlock while still in their teens. We love our babies and would never hurt them. Please don't pretend to speak for all women.

I look forward to seeing the Tebow ad during the Super Bowl, and fully support freedom of Speech for all individuals and organizations. "Freedom of speech" is protected by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and by many state constitutions and state and federal laws. It is not implied, assumed, or conveniently read into the wording. It's really there.

Oh - and off the subject, about thirty years ago, while I was still a teen, I used NOW services for some type of occupational testing. The service was totally unsatisfactory - a waste of time. Even as a teen, I recognized that. It was simple fluff, professing to be of community usefulness. Mere vehicle for a leftist agenda, they use women as props. I've never had any respect for the NOW organization since.

I oppose any use of public funds for these alleged women's organizations, especially in light of their efforts to deny other individuals and organizations the right to use private funds in communicating their message.
